Rod and Muriel Moore
Rod Moore is a Native of Springfield, Illinois, and is the lead pastor of The818Church. Rod holds a degree in Pastoral and Church Leadership from Valor Christian College. He is a passionate visionary leader, bold and energetic communicator, deeply dedicated to the people of the “818” San Fernando Valley, deeply burdened to give Jesus disciples in the valley, and truly believes from this valley the Gospel will spread into all the earth. Rod’s main desire in life is to make much of Jesus.
Muriel Moore is a native of Forestville MD. She serves alongside her husband in the leadership and administration of the church. Muriel also holds a degree in Biblical Studies from Valor Christian College. Muriel is a humble leader, deeply passionate about the local Church, leadership, marriage, parenting and financial stewardship. Muriel’s heart is create waves of lasting worship in the valley. Muriel is passionate about serving and fully surrendering to Gods purpose and plan. Her motto is “Use what little you have, little is much when you bring it to Jesus”
Rod and Muriel have been married since March of 2010, They have two daughters Moriah and Adonai, and a son, Maximus. Rod and Muriel have committed their lives to glorifying Jesus and making His name clear and famous, they have over two decades of experience in many different areas of Ministry, they have given their lives to helping others find their God given purpose.
Rod and Muriel moved from their life in Texas to Orange County in January of 2024 off of a yes to Jesus, to follow God's call to plant local churches in the San Fernando Valley and around the globe. Rod and Muriel have a deep passion for building Inter-relational churches.
